Elysium Noir

These are some photos I made of the Südfriedhof, the largest cemetery we have here. It’s a beautiful park with many rare tree species, a lake, a crematorium that looks like a church, some cute residents and wonderful graves. It’s an amazing place to hang out and I know some people who associate some interesting things with it ;) I’ll make some better photos this year thanks to the fact that I have a real camera  now (some of the photos below were made with my cell).

Detail of a grave at the Melaten Cemetery, Cologne. Dr. med Franz Leuffen is the author of a book concerning post-mortem examinations, written in the 1860s. Dr. Leuffen died in 1900.
