Today is Lughnasadh, which is not only a Gaelic holiday (hence the song above), but also my birthday. And it was good fun so far :) The weather is great (thanks Freyr), we had Swedish cake (thanks Soja), I started to read a book about a Victorian teenage hottie (thanks Bibi) and my beloved glamour boy played something for me on his guitar and showed me his room which truly reflects his beautiful mind (thanks Koes <3!).
Swedish Cake ~ Confused Edition ;)
Speaking of Love: Did you ever have the feeling that someone is giving you so much but you don’t have anything to give back? That someone is so creative, interesting and wonderful while you’re just a boring, average someone? I never really felt like that before and I’m not sure how to handle these feelings. The thing is that he is not even someone I’d want to marry and such, he’s just someone who I think of as the person that could become one of the best friends I ever had and I’m scared as hell that he might get bored of me someday. Oh, well, I guess I should just try to enjoy his company here and now instead of thinking of what might happen one day xD

Long time lurker, first time commenter: Josh, your eye for beauty proves you are no boring, average person. You’ve built a whole community through your lovely vision, and that’s one of the most fascinating things I’ve ever seen. So, enjoy the perspective another year brings, and the extraordinary people with whom it has brought you into contact, but never forget that you were the creative force that made it all possible.

All apologies:
A belated happy birthday (and a long and contented life), and an overdue echo of others profuse praise!
Thank you for honouring Freyr (many forget).
The song? Traditional music pleases – ‘wish I might goad Ingram (half brother) to resume the harp.
Ah, and of which Victorian teenage hottie do you speak? If there are images it cannot have been some forgotten telegraph boy ;-).
With great thanks,
Giles Paul Arthur Martin/G. Paul II von Ö.

Happy belated B-day and Blessed Lammas/Lughnasadh.
It is First Harvest and time to take notice of the seeds sown, which is why you have those feelings on Love. Worry not about how you are perceived, but give thanks for the Blessings of the one you cherish.
Safe Paths and Be Well.

How? Where? I wasn’t even aware!
