Diary *3
I was surprisingly social lately. And it was worth it. I got to know two new people who definitely have the potential to make my life more interesting. Both of them mailed me for somewhat random reasons and if you know me you’re surely aware of the fact that it can take up to a year (in extreme cases ;p) to get a mail back from me but these two actually seemed to be so interesting that I managed to overcome my laziness bustle and get back to them before they forgot that they even tried to talk to me.
I can’t show you Pics of Erik & Justin for Privacy Reasons so have this random Johan Palm Pic ;)
There’s Erik, a 14 year old little Viking from Sweden who’s one of these rare creatures which are smart and cute. Ignoring the fact that a 14 year old Swede speaks way better English than you do is so much easier when the boy in question is as charming and adorable as he is :) If he wouldn’t live so far away I wouldn’t hesitate to ask him out, no matter how many people would want to crucify me for the pedoness of that.
The other one is Justin, a smartass (and I say that with all the imaginable sympathy) from Dublin (he’s actually German ‘tho) and 16 (I should stop mentioning the age of the people I meet, doesn’t really help make my intentions look more innocent hey?). Talking to him is pure joy ‘cause we think alike in so many ways and we share some not so common interests so I’m glad to have found someone I can drool over this & that with ;p

Don’t care about the pedo-things. Everyone is a little bit pedo in his Toughts. Young friends help you to feel young yourself ;)
I have also some 15/16 yo friends online (knowing them offline, too), thats never a problem.
If you meet them, let your fingers on your side, be fare away if they take a shower and do not sleep with them in the same bed, then all will be fine :)
Online you should not share nude pics with the younger one.^^
And don’t care what other think about you, in the pedo hysteria we have, too many idiots are around :( Let them think, what they want. ;)
Benji says:
you’re lucky to have met those boys, they look fantastic !! :)
G2887 says:
Josh, your English (or written English, at least) is excellent. I’m an English teacher, and I almost never see mistakes. (except maybe in auxiliary verbs which are a pain in the arse anyway!)
sounds like your in a happy place anyway, so well done, you!

Josh says:
Thanks G ;) But it’s not so much about the mistakes I make (especially not since native speakers make mistakes too, fewer than I do maybe but nobody’s perfect ^^) but about my limited vocabulary. It just seems like I can never tell something in the same way I could in German. When I read my own English texts I can’t help thinking they’re written by some pretty average Joe while Erik, being 14 and neither a native English speaker, comes up with words I never heard before. But then again it’s kinda cool to learn from someone so young so that’s fine :)

On the opposite side is me, and I feel more and more lonely lately. And I can only dream that cute teenage will write to me. It’s total FML lately. But well, complaining is not going to help.
What says:
Josh, the best way to increase your English vocabulary is to read a lot of English books. Unless you hang out around intellectuals all the time, you will never hear most of the words in the English language as conversational dialects are simplified from their literary or educational form.
Michael says:
Don’t worry bout him being 14 and talking better english than you , because i also moved from a non native english country to a Scandinavian country as a 1st year university student last year and i was overwhelmed in the beggining from the quality of english here. Even as you said young people speak it almost fluently . So don’t sweat it it’s normal
Justin says:
Does this mean I’m finally an internet celebrity?
GromBeestje says:
Age… just a number, just another way to label people. I mean… I know people who were more mature they were 14 then most of the people of 18 at that time. When everyone is happy, I don’t care.
